Riding For The Handicapped - AVI ROCCO - In the News

Avi Rocco, a sixth-grader at Mars Aarea Centenninal School in the Mars Area School District, raise $835 for Riding for the Handicapped of Western Pennsylvania by participating in the organization's Ride-A-Thon on Oct. 6 in North Park.


Rocco joined in a three-hour trail ride, while collecting donations for the cause. Riding for the Handicappe is a therapeutic horseback riding program that. assists children and young adults with disabilities.


A member of North Allegheny Horseman's Association,  Avi is in her first season of showing her horse, Julie. She has earned nine first-place, six second-place and four third-place awards.
